HELP Plz!!! it is telling me i'm not authorized to play Guild Wars - Guild Wars Forums

okay I just got my factions today and I had pre ordered and had used the pre order access key to make a new account when they had the free for all thing going on well today I got my full game finely and when I added the access key to the account I made with my pre order key I get this message "Your account is not currently authorized to play Guild Wars" now what the heck is going on here and why is this happen? I have read where is says you can add to one of the tep. accounts so why aint it working for me? I went in and added the access key where I was supose to and all that but cant play and I have done everything I was supose to do to get nothing.. and yes this is the full gane access key not the pre order on... can someone help or know what I have to do.. I have emailed support but havent heard anything back...

when you go to make a character, make sure your trying to play chapter two if you dont have the original guildwars (chapter 1). This means you should be selecting the picture to the right that says "Cantha."

If your trying to play with the character you used during the headstart and you added the trial cd-key for the original prophicies campaign, you may have left your character in chapter one, and this may prevent you from playing with them (not sure).

the account im useing is the one i made with my pre order key i got when i pre orders the factions game and i got the full game today and when i add the access key to that account and when i log on i get the message "Your account is not currently authorized to play Guild Wars" now i see all the chars i made when i made the account but it says "Your account is not currently authorized to play Guild Wars" and thats right in the center of the screan so i'm not abel to get into try playing at all

It sounds like you using the friends access key, when you say its the one you made with the preorder key.
Did you make a dummy account just for factions FPE?
Do you have chap 1 GW:P? And did you put the preorder key in your chap 1 account?

I could be confused.

no this is my pre order account, i ordered the game from amazon.com and when i got my pre order cd i made a new account so when my full game came today i added the access key from the full game to the account and now its telling me my account is not authorized to play guild wars... i still haveent heard back from support
